Adult Day Training

The provider must meet the following minimum qualifications for staff:

Program Director:

  • Must possess at a minimum an associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years

  • Verifiable experience working directly with individuals receiving services or related experience.

  • All must hold a valid high school diploma or GED diploma

  • Complete a Level II background screening and APD Affidavit of Good Moral Character with results indicating no disqualifying offenses or receive an exemption from disqualification

Supervisors of direct care staff:

  • High school diploma or GED and one year of direct, care-related experience.

  • Related experience will substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

  • All must hold a valid high school diploma or GED diploma

  • Complete a Level II background screening and APD Affidavit of Good Moral Character with results indicating no disqualifying offenses or receive an exemption from disqualification

ADT service staff:

  • Must be age 18 years or older at the time they are hired

  • Complete a Level II background screening and APD Affidavit of Good Moral Character with results indicating no disqualifying offenses or receive an exemption from disqualification
