Juwanna is an alumna of the University of South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. While attending USF she worked full-time as a personal support for people with intellectual disabilities. After graduating, she became the Operation Manager of a Medicaid Waiver provider who worked with people with intellectual disabilities. In 2008, she opened Miracles in Motion, inc. to become her own Medicaid waiver provider agency for Adult Persons with Disabilities. With Miracles in Motion, inc. Juwanna has dedicated her career to giving people with intellectual disabilities an equal opportunity to live as respected citizens in the community. In 2022, Juwanna established Miracles in Motion, a not-for-profit organization designed to provide the resources that people with intellectual disabilities need to live in the community independently and to become employable. To date, Juwanna has served people with intellectual disabilities for over 23 years. 

Juwanna is married and the mother of three wonderful children. She is a go getter and loves to advocate for people.
